About The Author
Paula Keim
Hi, I’m Paula Keim—former racehorse jockey, nurse, and professional overcomer. I’ve galloped on thoroughbreds, stitched up lives as an LPN, and learned the hard way that life doesn’t always let you “get your ducks in a row.” (Sometimes, it’s more like herding cats while riding a unicycle!) But through it all—addiction, Lyme disease, brain injuries, and more—I’ve found strength in faith, family, and my love for horses and dogs.
Now, I write children’s books about acceptance, inclusivity, and turning life’s chaos into something beautiful.
